Driver’s door memory buttons
(driver memory or comfort memory)

Storing Personal Settings
Personal settings can be stored on the car key and the memory buttons in the door in combination with the driver memory or comfort memory package.

If the vehicle is equipped with driver memory there are memory buttons in the driver’s door. If the vehicle is equipped with comfort memory there are memory buttons in the driver’s door and the passenger’s door.

Driver memory
The driver memory package includes storage of ergonomic settings for

  • driver’s seat and
  • exterior mirrors.

Passenger’s door memory buttons (comfort memory)

Comfort memory
The comfort memory package includes storage of ergonomic settings for

  • driver’s seat
  • passenger’s seat (settings stored only on the memory buttons in the passenger’s door)
  • electric steering column and
  • exterior mirrors as well as

comfort settings for

  • air conditioning
  • multi-function display and
  • Porsche Communication Management (PCM).

Memory Seat Activation

If persons or animals are in the movement range of the seat during seat adjustment, parts of the body could get trapped or crushed.

  • Do not activate the memory button if there is any risk of the seat crushing the occupant.
  • Cancel automatic adjustment by pressing any seat adjustment button, one of the buttons 1, 2 or 3.
  • Do not leave children in the vehicle unattended, since they may depress the memory button and crush themselves or another occupant.

Information
If the automatic storage function in the multifunction display is activated, the settings are automatically stored on the car key when you lock the vehicle.

For information on switching the automatic storage function on and off:

  • Please see the chapter "SWITCHING AUTO MEMORY ON AND OFF" on page 132.

Irrespective of whether the automatic storage function in the multi-function display is activated, the settings can be stored on the car key (by pressing key button 3) and memory buttons 1 or 2 and retrieved from there.
