Unsecured, Incorrectly Secured or Incorrectly Positioned Loads
An unsecured or incorrectly positioned load can slip out of place or endanger the vehicle occupants as a result of braking, direction changes or in accidents.

  • Do not transport items of luggage or objects unsecured in the passenger compartment.
  • Do not transport any heavy objects in open storage trays.
  • Always keep the covers of the storage trays closed while driving.
  • Always protect the passenger compartment with a luggage compartment cover.

Storage options
There are various storage options available, depending on the vehicle equipment:

  1. Glove compartment with pen and paper holder.
  2. Storage tray in the center console between the front seats.
  3. Storage bin in the door handle on the passenger’s side.
  4. Storage and document compartment in the front door panel.
  5. Storage compartment and bottle holder in the front and rear door panel.
  6. Storage compartment in the front center console (instead of the ashtray).
  7. Open storage compartment in the rear center console (instead of 3-zone air conditioning).
  8. Storage compartment under the front seats.
  9. Front and rear cupholders.
  10. Map pockets on the back of the front seat backrests.
  11. Clothes hooks on the rear grab handles.
  12. Bag hook at the right-hand side of the luggage compartment in direction of travel.
  13. Luggage net on the underside of the luggage compartment cover.
  14. Storage net at the right-hand side of the luggage compartment in direction of travel.
  15. Storage compartment under the luggage compartment floor.

Glove compartment

Open Glove Compartments
An open glove compartment may cause injury during an accident.

  • Keep the glove compartment closed while driving.

The glove compartment contains a pen and paper holder.


  • Pull the latch handle (arrow) and open the lid.


  • Always lock the latch handle using the emergency key to secure the contents against unauthorized access.
