Sun Shield and Weather Protector (Boxster Spyder)
To protect the car from direct sunlight, wind and light rain, the Boxster Spyder has a sun shield and a removable weather protector. Please note that the sun shield and weather protector are not designed to provide the same level of protection as a convertible top. Drops can form in heavy rain and when driving at high speed in light rain.
The sun shield and weather protector must be removed before using a car wash.
Please see the chapter "CAR CARE INSTRUCTIONS" on page 185.
Ripples can appear in the sun shield when the vehicle is driven at high speed, but these disappear after a while.
Risk of damage to the vehicle and sun shield.
Do not exceed a maximum speed of 120 mph (200 km/h) when the sun shield is fitted.
