Moving the map

You can move the map section shown on the display as required. You have two options for doing this:

• Briefly touch the display to move the map section so that the center point of the map is at the point you touched. - or -
• Touch and hold a point in the map display to keep moving the map in the direction of this point. The map will keep moving until you stop touching the screen.

Setting the intersection zoom

If you have activated this function, the upcoming driving maneuver (e.g. leaving the freeway) is displayed greatly enlarged during route guidance.
The map is aligned during intersection zooming so that the current driving maneuver is "in front of the vehicle", i.e. shown in the center of the top half of the display.

1. Press the button.
2. Call up the map display menu by pressing the right rotary knob .
3. Select "Intersection zoom" to activate ( ) or deactivate ( ) the function.

Setting the display of the total route

If you have activated this function, the total route from the vehicle position to the destination flag is displayed during route guidance.
The map scale is automatically adapted.

1. Press the button.
2. Call up the map display menu by pressing the right rotary knob .
3. Select "Total route" to activate ( ) or deactivate ( ) the function.

Setting autozoom

If you have activated this function, the entire current route section is displayed.
As soon as you leave the current route section, the next route section is displayed in the map. The map scale is calculated and adapted according to the length of the new route section.

1. Press the button.
2. Call up the map display menu by pressing the right rotary knob .
3. Select "Autozoom" to activate ( ) or deactivate ( ) the function.

These functions can also be activated or deactivated in the map display menu.

Setting the map to a northerly orientation

If you have activated the "North orientation" function, the map will be oriented to the north.

• Touch the north arrow on the display. - or -

1. Press the button.
2. Call up the map display menu by pressing the right rotary knob .
3. Select "North orientation" to activate ( ) or deactivate ( ) the function.

The function can also be activated or deactivated in the map content menu.
